After years of bloody war, Sir Guilllaume de la Fosse and his battle weary men travel home to prepare for the return of the King and his army. A small convoy of ships carrying the Warriors, war spoils and hostages sails into a huge storm as they reach England, seperating the vessels. Guillaumes own ship is wrecked on a small beach and the survivors search for a safe place to treat the wounded. Coming across a recently deserted village, the cooking fire still burning, the men take refuge. Sending out scouts to find familiar surroundings Guillaume finds himself questioning how the other ships faired and what happened to the small village. Before long he, his men and the village come under attack from an enemy more deadly than any he has faced before. Guillaume must battle to save his men, his faith and his country against an evil that has decimated the land.
