Lucy Ellen Weller lives in Manchester and is the daughter of devout, strict Christian parents. She lives with her four siblings, and she's sixteen. She loves rock 'n' roll, even though she isn't permitted to listen to it, and longs to be free from her parents. At school, Lucy encounters the new kid, Liam Gallagher, who is hellbent on causing trouble. Lucy eventually meets Liam's older brother, Noel, and the two hit it off and become fast friends, despite the four-year age difference between them.
Lucy's friendship with Noel is a secret from her family, and she loses a couple friends as a result of her friendship with him. However, the two grow closer, and in the year of 1993, Lucy runs away with Noel, Liam, and their band, Oasis, to start off on an adventure. Now twenty-two in a big world and the girlfriend of the member of one of the biggest bands in the world, Lucy is thrust into the lavish world of parties, sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll. Life isn't always a party, however, and Lucy has to face the consequences of her actions.
