(THE STORY BEGINS IN 2011)
Being best friends with the world’s biggest boy band isn’t easy; all of the hate, and the constant torment from fans. When One Direction picked Hanna, now a practical 18 year old girl from Sheffield, to be in their new music video almost 1 year ago she was the biggest fan-girl that ever existed. Now Hanna spends every living second of the day with the boys, as she begins to find out that they are among some of the very few people she can trust in this world. But before the wave of fame passed over, Hanna had a normal life. Some would even say she had the perfect life; the perfect family, the perfect friends, the perfect boyfriend, and meeting her five biggest inspirations just made her life that little bit more perfect. But what happens when three out of the five lads both begin to fall for her? When relationships break and the truth begins to unfold about Hanna’s past love life, which one of the boys will be there first to save her? This is a story about a once ordinary girl, and her journey dating a member of the world’s current biggest boy band. The story will later on start to get into the points of views of the other characters and Hanna’s family, and her friends that she meets along the way. In a nutshell, Hanna is living the dream, but as that dream begins to crumble and her relationship with Louis begins to lose its spark, find out who is there to save Hanna again – you’ll be surprised!

Directionators and Directioners: terms known well in the fan fiction, tumblr, twitter, and internet world. Those are the two distinct groups surrounding One Direction, but Marissa isn't either of those. Marissa is a Direction Hater. She can't stand to listen to their music, and she doesn't understand the hype surrounding the boys. They, afterall to Marissa, are just a phase the girls are going through.
