Recognized as a national hero for helping to save botanist Mark Watney, Dr. Chris Beck is a now retired astronaut and occasional college speaker. He meets the young and eager astronaut wannabe and amateur inventor, Rose Whitaker. Fueled by her fascination with the infamous story, she describes her latest invention as a top-secret spacecraft that will simulate being stuck on Mars alone and with minimal supplies, exactly like Watney's. However, there are some *major* complications. ~ Work in Progress! ~ (Like, everything about it pretty much is a work in progress xD.)
