Matt Vicarter is back, and he's dealing with more stuff than ever before. Going behind his parents back, Matt enters his freshman year at the University of Ottawa and he becomes the new meat in the famous NHL team, The Ottawa Senators who have no idea that he's a student. Suddenly, everything to Matt has changed, in the biggest way possible... lying to his family, and new friends and as the hockey season starts he finds himself surrounded by people who only want to know him for his fame. He finds paparazzi hiding behind his bushes outside his apartment and harassing him as he tries  to live his life.Matt struggles with the idea of living on his own, and juggling school with hockey.... again. On top of that his musical roommate who seems like a younger and better looking version of Gandhi, has a twin sister... who reminds Matt so much of the one girl that he can't get out of his mind. Lastly, his mother makes an announcement that will change the Vicarter family forever.
Matt thinks that he left the game behind, he thinks that he got through it, but really he's just entered a whole new game and he's going to have to learn how to play  it.

And I didn't change Caitlin's character because I needed Christian in it. So there is a reason to everything in this, I'm not just being completely off because I don't know whats going on.*

She is sent to go and live with her uncle that lives in London which she has never met. Her life has changed once again and hopefully it's for the better.

Until the worst possible series of events happens. The team wins their first game in 13 years, shocked fans catch Jake talking to a popular pro player after a game, and an unfortunate tweet blows up. All leading to Jake's face being plastered on every Twitter feed, Instagram story, and social media outlet that you can think of. His worst nightmare comes to life in real time. Now with the help of his team, he has to figure out how to deal with his newfound fame while trying to get his bachelor's in chemical engineering and win as many damn hockey games as he possibly can before time runs out and he has to run again.
