Genevieve Rayes has been living as a hermit in her room since her parents death. Venturing out only for dinner or the bathroom, her Aunt has become worried that she may never come out. So, her Aunt came up with the solution to pick up their things, move to Chicago and have a fresh start. Genevieve isn't to keen on this, until she learns that she will be moving to the very place her parents grew up and where they met. There she meets a boy named Christian, in a less than romantic situation, who she later finds out is also a struggling orphan. With this, they begin to get to know each other and develop an unexplainable interest in one another. Will they become something more? And if so, will they have a happy ending or suffer the tragic fate of their parents?
