Riley isn’t normal.
She doesn’t believe in social groups, preferring to believe that everyone is the same, due to the fact that we are all humans.
She doesn’t believe in going to parties to get drunk, when you could just relax and meditate and save yourself the trouble and the hangover.
She doesn’t believe in violence, peace is ALWAYS the better option.
And above all, she does not want to be mainstream.
When she moves in with her Godmother’s family over balanced by boys, all which are defined as ‘normal’ teenagers, things begin to change.
The boys all want to show her a life of fun and living on the edge, acting her age and being a normal girl they are sure is hiding somewhere behind her odd exterior.
But is it really Riley who needs changing?
Riley is your typical teenage girl. She lives with her mom in an apartment in Washington D.C. Her life is as simple as ever-school, chores, and sometimes sports.
That was till that day when her life changed forever. The day her mother gets murdered and Riley's life gets completely flipped. Since she is still a minor she moves to New York City to live with her 12 older brothers who can't see past their differences.
How will Riley handle the change? Will she be able to help bring peace between her brothers? Will she be able to do everything before she turns 18?
