Earth has become overpopulated, and The World Council of Treaties have successfully terraformed a planet able to keep Mankind alive. But before it can be inhabited, a select team of specialized soldiers must investigate every inch of the planet's surface. However, things seem to be a bit more of a hassle than originally thought.

Vick is just one of the unlucky soldiers sent to this planet. Problem is, there's problems all over the place. Literally. On top of that, the last thing he remembers is falling asleep in his room.

Lost, dropped off, stranded, whatever you want to call it, Vick is on his own. Now that he's finally awake, faint glimpses of his missing memories are trickling in. If only they could be a little faster. Accompanied by his trusty friend, Ox, Vick will soon discover just what happened during his sleep.

In a far, far away future a thousand years after a global catastrophe which wipe almost all humans... A new civilization was form in the ruins of the old one. The technology of their predecessors looks like magic to them, but that won't stop the human urge to understand it all. Then, one day a young man was inherited a mask, and entrusted the task of repair it. A mask that hides a secret that will affect the future of them all. At what lengths would he go to fulfill a promise? What enemies will he face? Which allies will he make? And more importantly of all. What is the cost to pay? I would really appreciate if you give a little of time to comment your opinion of every chapter, and it would help me a lot if any typo, continuity error, or some writing advice you can make. This is my first story and I very exited to see how it goes! I would also really appreciate likes and shares, I don't actually know if likes affect how the story performance, if it does then I would really appreciated and if not then I always welcome free internet points, in the case of shares, I know is a little harder to do so, but that definitely helps me a lot! [NOTE: I want to clarify that this story might be a little too charge with its weird lore and, I have to admit, might have put on too many characters, and sometimes I have problems explaining some stuff or I don't explain other stuff to well. I will keep editing stuff to try to make this its best version possible.]

As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.

However, the massive impact of the meteor is so powerful, that despite redirection, explodes huge, which causes the radioactive rock, to burn everything within a one hundred-mile radius, destroying the facility, and leaving Aaron and his team to be presumed dead. Forty-two years later, now in 2076, Austin along with James and Julia emerge from the now empty and inactive cryogenic pods, which kept them alive, and not aging at all. However, the world as they know it is in turmoil. With technology and machines becoming sentient, and taking over the world, most of the planet is now a dry and barren desert wasteland, with seventy-give percent of human population now extinct. Austin and his friends see, they are now pitted against strong malicious AI and evil machines, along with mutated former human creatures that succumbed to the gamma rays in the atmosphere. Along with acceleration in climate change, and technological progress, humans are now reduced to smaller settlements to survive and battle for resources. Austin and his friends join hands with other rebels and leaders to stand for their rights against the machines and the mutants. @}8^)->=<: Science Fiction * Thriller * Post-apocalyptic MPAA: Rated PG-13 for language and violence.

In the beginning 2000s, the World would be changed forever. During a update to a Airbase's lent Aircrafts, something interesting would happen... leading to a new age, and a new experience. Join the crew, as they, along with their new allies would slowly adjust to this new occurrence, while defending what they believe in... while trying to survive in the world. (A/N: This is strictly a AU, this never happened IRL... and some names used aren't actually how the people they might be linked to have acted. Policies or Occurrences in the World should NOT be considered as secretly happening in the World right now.) (Be Warned though, as Swearing is included, along with some Adult Topics... along with PTSD... if you're easily triggered by this, please skip a few chapters if you're uncomfortable with them. I'll mark the chapters that go too far.) (If this does well, might make a second installment for other parts. This Installment will mostly focus on the beginnings.)
