"Cassandra run!" That's all my life has been about- running. Trying to escape one problem or the other, yet never completely evading it. This was my life. A life which was such a mess of secrets and pain, making it impossible for me to live like a normal teenage girl. Now, I'm leaving the only people who never left my side, no matter what. I feel horrible and I hate myself but try as I must I can't turn back. I'm running without really caring where I was going, my legs taking me to god-knows-where. And that's how I ended up here. Ever heard the saying," Curiosity killed the cat..."? Well these three teenagers haven't. After spending a day at school one of the three friends, Melanie, discovered a dark mysterious society lost from human connection. After telling the remainder of her friends, Shay and Honor, their curiosity took the best of them. They set out to find this "society" having already in mind that it didn't exist. But to their misfortune they find out ....."Eclipse" is still very much alive. Now with only a week to survive they try to escape by playing a game. As time almost ends Honor questions the idea of leaving and living. If he leaves something bad happens but if he stays their is a strong possibility that he will die knowing the whole "Truth". Sure curiosity killed the cat...but satisfaction brought it back.

But she wasn't gone just out of reach of human sight. She was in the unknown the far unknown that she herself didn't understand. The only way to know was to ask yourself why.

Have you ever wondered how things happen? How the world came to be? How humans were born? Well it's fine to have curious thoughts and ideas. However, do not let those thoughts become actions without thinking over what might and what could happen. Because as the saying goes, curiosity kills the cat. Nathan and his friends didn't know any better when they go clean his grandparents' attic. But what they do find out, is that there's more than what meets the eye. A casual and perfect summer's day quickly becomes dark and dangerous.
