But 5 years ago, Birdie's life wasn't something out of a dream, 5 years ago, Birdie wanted to die. So, 5 years later, she died. What happens when Death has a crush on you, Life laughs at every second thing you do, and they both say that you have six months to live? It all turns to shit.

Nothing is ever as it seems.
A boy of seventeen waits on a wall for a girl. He's been doing it for a while. When she comes, he smiles and gets off his wall. She has pretty red hair, like his sister's. He gets on her bus, sits next to her, and they ride in silence for the rest of the journey to her home. Then they embrace, and then she spends the night at his house. It doesn't sound too bad. Until you think about the fact that the boy of seventeen is a Shadowhunter, the red haired girl a mundane, and that she doesn't know he is there until he breaks into her house through her window, throws a knife in her general direction, and she breaks his wrist. And then he kidnaps her, imprisons her to the point of near insanity and nearly turns her into a Forsaken. She spends the night paralysed in his bed. Nothing is ever as it seems. This is a birthday gift for a friend. Happy birthday, Natasha. We all love you, you annoying little prat. WARNING: There are gross bits, and graphic descriptions. TW: Mentions of suicide and abuse Forest Gray is what everyone would describe as a golden boy; perfect grades, the star of the football team, and a damn good friend. He is rich and good looking; he has it all. Except the one thing he's wanted his whole life, his parents love and acceptance. They are never home, yet they hold a protective barrier around him no matter what. They even own the school he goes to. Forest is to do and be who they say, and he's never been one to disobey or displease anyone, except for when he falls in love with the one boy who's able to break his parents spell. Atlas Hart is different from most people, because most people don't skip school and disappear for days or even weeks at a time. But most people don't have his intense emotions and outbursts of anger, or a broken family, or looked at as the outcast of the school. When Forest meets Atlas, he can't believe he's never noticed someone so perfect for him, and Atlas just can't believe someone like Forest is even talking to him. They fall helplessly in love, creating a bump in the plan Forest's parents laid out for his life before he was even born. Follows the struggles of falling in love with someone you're not supposed to and coming to terms with it while facing obstacles like family and friendship complications in which the characters have to overcome.Complete

If you're not okay with that then I suggest you leave. I'm gonna go ahead and add a trigger warning, for suicidal themes, cutting, etc... Fair warning, this story is really poorly written. It's filled with plot holes, grammar errors, and everything else under the sun that makes a bad story. It pains me to reread it but it's like my own writing history so I don't want to take it down. This story is about a 16 year old girl named Melody Swift. Ever since her mother died, her so-called "father" started abusing her. Kids at school are cruel, they bully her brutally just because she's different. She simply waits for everything to get better, after all what's the point in trying when the world will do whatever they can to drag you down. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.Complete
