Mallory and Charlotte live in a small town surrounded by forests, with cliffs that lead to cold shorelines and black oceans. Closer than sisters, they tuck themselves away to go on adventures, and chronicle their days on their blog-RE: Bellion.
There's only one adventure, one horrible night, they haven't written about, out of respect. But the tragic death of a friend and an anonymous online vengeance that stems from their silence is slowly wrapping itself around their life-online and off it. The only way to stop it is to do what they do best; disappear on another adventure.

Some trauma from home is found and in danger of being told, things that she doesn't really want people to know. You'd think getting through high school would be easy. A certain bad boy who happens to be her neighbor takes a keen interest in her. She's never liked anyone and has had no real interest in any relationship, only her studies that kept her busy. He's smart but acts like he's the greatest and he tries to impress her but she can hardly be impressed by things she can do. Yet, she never gave up. Until they pulled her last straw, and she left the house with frustration. Jordan grew worried and chased after her. Nobody knew that'd be the last sight of Ava. The day after, Jordan would be found in the hospital with no recall of such memory. Jordan and Clementine would start their own investigation. Featuring unfamiliar faces from Ava's life that nobody's ever heard of, this was only the beginning to insanity. Dark secrets, dirty games and blaming would be involved. They would eventually question how they treated Ava and their trio-friendship itself. But there's two things they didn't question. Will Ava ever be found? But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. But that seems impossible when she bumps into Asher Kellins and his absolutely crazy friends in her new school. Her life takes a different turn, but for the first time she doesn't want to fight it. But the thing is, her past is still her present and that is bound to suck her in at some point.
