Legends said they were the spirits of women who where thrown off ships because it was bad luck to have them on-board. And now they seeked vengeance by luring sailors into the deep among them.

She loved watching humans drown. Enjoyed them begging for mercy as she and her sisters dragged their souls into the depths of the ocean with them.

They were the dark year's.. When the king at the time gets deadly sick there is no chance for his survival.The cure is too far to reach. The king's son and heir head's to the other side of the planet to find the cure. But they forget one little ditale. The ocean was swarming with Mermaids. Their adventure is going to be harder than they thought.
What will happen when they keep one of the Mermaids?

A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I'm writing a book about sirens and merpeople (yes, different things) and want opinions as I go along with the story and some support so I can continue writing! Sophia is part of the crew on the Major after hearing rumours the captain decided she has to die But as she was drowning she found a new power within her an turns into a siren Follow Sophia and her, later found, best friend Lucy on their adventures while discovering more and more of Sophia's powers. And I smell a romance between the friends blossoming And I have already written their get together scene so that is a promise I intend to keep ;) It's gonna be rated Mature when I post that scene, but until then it's off And that scene doesn't really hold any plot so you can skip it (I'll put a warning before and tell you when it's over though)

They really don't belong in this world they have powers but all magic comes with a price I fear. For one their mother remarried to this pig he has no respect for women and hates herself and her brother but the reason why is because of his horrid smell it keeps those that want to hurt them away from them other immortals like their father. They pretty much live their lives in the water and they can do things with water like their father but he doesn't know it and the only reason they have the problems they do is because of their powers those problems go away when they're in the half blood world with other demi-G-Ds like them in that world she's a mermaid, legs on land and tail in the water, and the not talking so much she has a beautiful voice, but its part of her powers her singing is like a siren song.Kumpleto

Regardless, he doesn't fight, not wanting to make it worse. Worry increases when she's spotted again. Muriel begins to develop a crush on Prince Philip after he frees her from the net. When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers.
