Sirens had such sweet voices that it is said that mariners who heard their songs were lured into grounding their boats on the rocks on which the beautiful nymphs sang 

Legends said they were the spirits of women who where thrown off ships because it was bad luck to have them on-board. And now they seeked vengeance by luring sailors into the deep among them.

She loved watching humans drown.  Enjoyed them begging for mercy as she and her sisters dragged their souls into the depths of the ocean with them.

They were the dark year's.. When the king  at the time gets deadly sick there is no chance for his survival.The cure is too far to reach. The king's son and  heir head's to the other side of the planet to find the cure. But they forget one little ditale. The ocean was swarming with Mermaids.
