Absence of Sound

Kimberley Clark lives in a world secluded from society. She lives in a land full of seasons, where she and her little village must gather and grow their own food. She's the daughter of the village leader and has always followed the rules... until now. She was assignment a husband-to-be when she was a young child and is expected to fall into patterns set before her and live a calm gentle life in the land full of magical beings. She is gifted, extremely so, and is supposed to keep the secret. She happens to stumble upon a human one day and she makes a decision that will change her life.
