Buffy Summers awakes one morning, images of fear and death still lingering in her mind from a nightmare. Little does she know, miles and miles away, Dean Winchester is jolting up in bed with the same images flickering in his mind. Both feel an irresistible need to investigate a grisly murder just outside Cleveland, OH, having no idea that their worlds are about to collide. Dean may have been to Hell and back, but he'd never tangled with a Slayer before, and it just might be his undoing, or it might be his salvation. Buffy might have been to Heaven and back, but she'd never met anyone like Dean before, and it just might be her undoing, or it might be her salvation. Can these two find each other in the death, chaos, and loneliness that surrounds them, or are they doomed to fight their battles on their own?

He shrugged, a smirk forming on his face as he looked at me and placed an arm around her shoulder. "Nice to meet you.
