She stepped off the curb with a thousand other things on her mind. She wasn't really paying attention to her surroundings. It was a rainy, dreary kind of night. She had an umbrella clenched tightly in one hand as though the wind would whip it out of it any second. It might, the wind was blowing very strongly. She crossed the street safely and walked until she came to the next cross walk. Again she stepped off not really even looking at her surroundings. All of a sudden she hears the roar of a car in her ears. She looks to her left and all she can see are two blinding lights. Suddenly, she feels strong arms wrap around her and pull her to safety. ----- Amy is an average teenager. She's got what every girl wants. The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence.
