This song came to my while I was listening to music and looking out my window at my backyard. I was imagining sitting under the big tree back there, writing and bobbing my head to the music, but since it's winter and really cold, I can only imagine it right now, so I wrote a poem.

Scratching the Surface (Poems)
UPDATE: I wrote these when I was 13 and depressed all the time. I'm 18 now, and, fortunately, life's been going well! Unfortunately, these poems are fairly cringe, so read at your own risk.
