A story about a trashy girl from a trashy neighborhood with a smart head attending a school for other intelligent people and being the talk of the school whilst doing so. Valerie Atkins was 17-years-old and in her last year of high school when Todd Watson entered her life. Todd was a smart man, a proper man, a working man. And Val was just a girl, making her way, getting by with what she had. Todd was clean, and smart, and Val was lucky if there was hot water before school. Todd was the best and the worst thing to happen to Valerie and to Northbrooke High School. It was all so Bittersweet. "I'm Todd, but that's Mr. Watson to you, Ms. Atkins."

Delilah

"What are you doing?" I mumble through my mouth. "Waking you up." Charlie replies me casually. "You could've just shaken me awake or you know flick me on the forehead!" I protest at him. "You think I didn't do that? I shook you, flicked you and even pulled your hair. But surprisingly, you were still sleeping after all that. So I thought of kissing you, and hey! It worked! I should do that more often when you doze off, plus your lips are really sweet." he teased me. ------ Delilah Chase, aged 17 had to move to a new stare due to her dad's job promo. At her new school, she meets Charlie Hemmings, a senior in high school. The first thing that came to his mind after meeting her was "I really want to date her, because maybe...this is love at first sight."
