Dr. Xander Stevens visits his friend, Dylan McFlynn who was a manager and has a girlfriend, Steffanie Brooks. Soon, Steffanie will discover Dylan's secret that will make her question whether she really know him at all and that will make her run away from the town where she grew up. Afraid of the consequences of the revelation, Dylan will ask for Xander's help to find Steffanie for he's the only one who knows about the secret, thus, the only one who can help him. As Xander found Steffanie, he was oblivious of the fact that as much as he found her, he also found something that he'd neither seen nor felt before. A story about love, loss and trust that will show us that love can make us do things we never imagined we can do and that the best thing in life is sometimes the one we can never have.

You can run from a person. Not a past. Told in alternating timelines-Then and Now-this gripping novel unravels the truth behind the boy she thought she loved, the one she's trying not to fall for, and the moment everything changed. In Dover, Delaware, Chastin kept things surface-level-until Monty came along and pulled her into a world she couldn't escape. He isolated her, consumed her, and made her believe love had to hurt. When everything fell apart, she ran. Now, in living in small town Lewes, Chastin is starting over. For the first time, she has real friends, a sliver of peace, and the chance to be someone new. But the past still follows her like a shadow, especially the secrets she's terrified will catch up. Then, Noah, literally crashes into her life. He's all charm, trouble, and persistence- everything she swore she'd never trust again. But the more he refuses to give up on knowing her, the harder it becomes to keep her walls up. And slowly, she realizes around him, the weight of everything doesn't feel as heavy. But she's learned what it costs to trust the wrong person. Because some endings aren't the end at all. They're just the beginning of what comes next.
