Mary has been  sheltered her whole life, upon release she finds the world has been ravaged by ghoulish titans. Titans that bear a terrifying resemblance to her.

Mary  is an android who has lived with her father on an island in the middle of the ocean for her entire life. She has been locked within the confines of the island since the apocalypse that befell mankind two hundred years ago it doesn't bother her in the slightest. All she needs is to be with her father and her books.
  
And then the outside world invades. People from the ravaged lands kidnap her father and she is forced to escape in an effort to escape potential captivity. Left alone in a world she never knew, she's forced to fend for herself for the first time, she needs to make friends, interact with people, learn how to be more human, all in the effort to rescue her father.
  
The real world isn't too welcoming to Mary. Cities are being ravaged by giant ghostly beasts and a mysterious deadly disease is spreading the earth.
  
Why was she created?
  
Why does she dream of memories from 200 years ago?
