My first poem in three years. Talking about something I've been dealing with lately. I am losing my hearing in one ear. I have been (predominately) teaching myself American Sign Language (ASL) off and on for most of my life, but lately have been trying in earnest to learn for a number of additional reasons. There also isn't a lot of social events for Deaf and Hard of Hearing in my area. It has boiled down to that I think I'm supposed to help change that.

Hidden Feelings Book 1 (Poetry) (Journaling)
It's just a bunch of songs I wrote when I was feeling mad or sad or extremely happy and motivated. Their just a bunch of lyrics formed from my emotions. I mean I was trying to figure out how to express myself so I started using rhymes to begin with. I mean some songs don't only have rhymes but most of my songs are rhymes with 4 or 6 lines and their all original works of mine so don't bother trying to steal them or anything. Also this is an add on I've started writing journal entries in here as well and I may put my two books together. My 'Ange's Journal', and 'Hidden Feelings' together. I don't know why, it's just a spur of the moment thing and a feeling I had. These are all my experiences and thoughts I've had but never said out loud. But if you don't like it or are offended by what I say your doing something wrong in life. But I guess it's also me just letting everything out and telling my story in an unorganized way, you know.Complete
Air Conditioning
Vent poetry It's frowned upon putting your heart on your sleeve with such a weak code like a three number pin. For both of our sakes I hope you aren't the type to spend your time digging your claws in and working to decode someone else's words and emotions. Then again I also hope you aren't the type who frowns upon free verse. You'd be surprised how many people don't see the point of it if it doesn't rhyme. Just relate to my words and not my emotions and you will come out fine.
The Third Wedding
This is my story, essentially these are real events I've lived through and I'm processing it by writing it down as a fairytale. It's probably fine. Like every military staff, who was coming back home, he was still excited to see his fiancèe, despite him losing his job forever. It did not turn out the way he hoped it would be and caught her cheating with his best friend. That's when he started to lose all his hope in life and plot his own death. When life does not work his way he starts blaming God for it. Fortunately, he survived a car accident and was saved by a business woman named 𝘈𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘦. She helps him become a better version of himself and grow more into Christ, making him find the right path in his life again. Everything Hurts
I knew what was coming later tonight, not only at home, but on the way there. I knew that reacting right now would just make it worse though. So I kept quiet and pretended that I was not dreading when I would be alone with the man that stood beside me, wondering when it became so normal to do so. Jason and Alicia have the perfect relationship from the outside looking in, but Alicia has kept her wounded spirit and body hidden well. After another one of Jason's violent rages that is impossible to hide, Alicia is finally able to get away from the abuse though.
