After two years, Toris is home from the army. He stays with his two best friends Eduard and Ravis as he deals with his ptsd and other issues. His friend from the army joins him, and soon he and Alfred are even dating. But the event that convinced Toris to leave the military is a painfully vivid memory, and as it turns out, it might be far worse than how he initially perceived to be.

I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. PLEASE, if you want something with better writing and still full of angst, look at my other fics instead (Tempest is my fav) // Harry is upset, he just wants someone to care about him but he keeps pushing everyone away. SNADGER SMITH
Snadger Smith was born in the 1890s in Central Victoria, Australia. The son of a miner and the great grandson of families that emigrated from the United Kingdom and Ireland. Snadger joins the Australian Infantry Forces in 1915 and sees action on the Western Front in France and Belgium until 1919. He makes friendships in the war but tragedy will follow him throughout his time overseas. He returns to Australia after the war and becomes a recluse and a miner/fossicker in the goldfields of Central Victoria. He struggles with post traumatic stress and guilt. By chance he meets a young country boy from town and the two become unlikely friends. Through their friendship the boy learns about life and the old man finally learns to forgive himself.

Many things fall. Such as heros. All heros eventually fall. Some because of a villian. But America? No, this hero was falling to something else. Something worst. Something more painful.
