Dean Winchester was happy.
Well certainly not happy; Perhaps content is a better word.
He never had a real problem growing up. He grew up in the early 50's to a rather wealthy family where his father was successful in his law firm while his mother stayed home with the five children. He grew up knowing what he had to do. Graduate, go to university, get a job at his father's firm, get married, have kids. His life had been planned out for him for as long as he could remember. And he followed it.
For years he remained silent, going to school, working, courting and marrying a woman; He followed it to the t. And now, he's happily married to a nice young woman, Lisa, about four years younger, with their two children; Ben, eleven, and Emma, seven.
For years, he'd been happily married to his wife, raising their two children in their three bedroom house in the suburbs.
Perfectly content.
It isn't until Castiel Novak crosses Dean's path that his life takes a turn he had wished it never would've came to it. It had been suppressed all these years, Dean knowing EXACTLY what he had to do couldn't been thrown off track by this. For years, he spent nights wide awake, paranoid that someone would know. For years he forced himself to follow the "right" path, He was a Christian man after all.
He couldn't be a homosexual.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
OR
Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
