“You keep thinking about tomorrow. Just imagine it as another day, just you and me. Together forever,” Sean told her.
She stood at the door of the church, waiting to go in, thinking about what Sean had told her last night on their long drive through the warm summer night. She was waiting behind the big oak doors of the church in her white ball gown. The church doors opened up wide, and she put her veil down trying to hide the tears. She just couldn’t believe it; she was marrying the man of her dreams today. She heard the trumpets of the military band as her father took her elbow in his, escorting her down the aisle. Ashley was extremely aware as the congregation all stood up; her nerves were all over the place, and all she wanted to do was see Sean. Her eyes traveled down the alter, where he stood clad in his military uniform. With just one look, he took her breath away. As she came in contact with his familiar hazel eyes that she loved so much, it seemed as if everyone else had faded away. All she could see was him, his short, dirty blonde hair that was styled in the front. All she cared about in that moment was him.
