Many years later the time has come for the little boy's mother to put things right, once and for all, So that no other parent's children should be lost to the monster within.

Sawyer lives a harsh life in a hard world. Her mother is constantly working to heal their sick father and Sawyer has to take care of her younger sister as the step-in 'mom'. Their village is adjacent to a blackened forest by the name of the Twilight Woods. The witch Umbra inhabits it and is the one who created it out of grief and anger.
