For the citizens of Castelia City, life was nothing more than the daily grind. Wake up, eat, go to work, come home and go to bed. Rinse and repeat. But for Hikaru Kazuki, a 25 year old musician on tour from Sinnoh, life was a bit more complicated than that.

Having been asked to play at Club Wynaut-by his producer-for more publicity, Hikaru agrees and performs for those gathered in the famous hot spot in Castelia City. But when a group of strange-looking women rob the place and leave several people dead and critically injured, life goes topsy-turvy for Hikaru as he finds himself nearly frozen to death at the hands of the assailants who attacked the club.

Just when he thought things couldn't get any stranger, he wakes up inside a lab apartment and comes to find that he has a little too much in common with a Lucario.
