Milo Wright is a fledgling L.A. journalist, fresh out of college. However, in a manner befitting his profession, he is given a plot twist - a crushing diagnosis that permanently alters the course of his life. He puts out an ad for hire, looking to find a travel companion that will circumnavigate the globe with him before he loses the ability to do so.
When Briar Blake responds, Milo is overjoyed and terrified all at once, but finds reassurance in the fact that Briar knows what she signed up for. Little does Milo know, however, that Briar has her own terms and conditions, and more than a few tricks up her sleeve.
