Fire melts ice. Simple as that, right? If only it were that simple with humans as well. 
Portgas D. Ace finds himself smitten with either love, infatuation, or interest. Whichever it is, he's determined to learn everything about her. 

The one girl giving him so much trouble? 
The last survivor of the Crystallians,
Taiga. 
Her skin cold to the touch, her heart buried in a mound of ice. 

And if Ace is caught with anything that isn't love, he may end up shattering the last Crystal. He has to be careful with something as slippery and fragile as ice.  And she has to be careful with something as warm and yet dangerous as fire.

Ace felt his body flicker with sparks as he stood up to leave. He put his hands into his shorts pockets as he looked over the town. Speaking of the town it wasn't small but not big. it couldn't compare to Dressrosa but it was big enough to be a place pirates often dropped to, to restock and resupply. Ace sighed before pushing himself towards the forest, he had made his home in the large expanse of forest this island offered. Ace scratched the back of his head before yawning his dark hair was a target for the blazing sun. He took one more glance at the Black cat before walking into the oak forest.
