He slowly turned and faced me with a bored expression. "Yeah. You're...um.. Joanie? From Math?"

So that's how you wanna play? Okay two can play this game... "It's Khloe actually" I replied curtly.

"Yeah whatever."

He seemed distracted...He wouldn't even look at me for Pete's sake!

"So, you just moved here from Cincinnati? It must be a big change for you. Oh wasn't Kara supposed to show you around?"

"From Chicago actually. Look Joanie, I don't really care, I've got places to be." he said, and then stormed off leaving me completely dumbstruck. I mean here I was, ready to practically throw myself at this guy and he couldn't give two shits about me.

     Just because he was new and obviously didn't know how things functioned in my school, it didn't give him any right to treat me like that. It's as if he didn't know I existed and I was determined to change that. Not only would Jackson Mathers notice me, he'd be begging for me, and there was no way he'd ever forget me.
