James Mulligan, more commonly known as Shadow, is an assassin for hire. Finances are low for him with his wife and son gone, and fighting seems to be the only thing he's good at. His current employer is definitely not the kindest, though anyone hiring an assassin isn't someone you'd want as a friend. After a failed mission and an escaped target, the reason behind Shadow collection of scars becomes apparent.

I would like you to read it because it introduces two of the main characters but its not necessary. Also may have some mature content. By mature I mean cursing, some violence, and maybe other stuff.
