Hundreds of years ago there was a very wealthy and well-known kingdom known as Prylyn. The Royal family was known as being Life. As long as the family was alive and in Prylyn then life could go on as normal for everyone, in Prylyn, the rest of their country, Aelia, and even in the human world. ~~~ The Ranines' is the family name, it's always been the same. Emile Ranine was one of the many daughters of King Johan and Queen Seraphine. She was just a toddler when she was kidnapped by a couple who were envious for power, their plan didn't go quite as they liked and they ended up taking Emile to the human world and raising her there as their child. But ever since Emile disappeared, Aelia has been growing weaker without the entire family being in their world. ~~ 16 years later Emile's almost all grown up. When a mysterious black haired boy shows up claiming she's a lost princess of Prylyn and she needs to go back with him she has no clue what to do. Does she trust this guy? Are her parents, who took care of her her whole life and bought her everything she ever wanted, even her real parents? Is this stuff that this strange guy is telling her the truth? After all.. he is the only one making sense in her life anymore. ^^ (P.S this is also the prologue of the book)
