'I woke up in a puddle of sweat, my heart racing. I looked around, I was in a small room decorated with kids drawings and stuffed animals. I clutched my head in my hands and rocked back and forth, questions spun around in my head.
'What am I doing here? What's going on? Where am I? But the most important question was the most scary. Who am I?
I couldn't remember a thing before this moment, nothing, no matter how hard I tried. I got out of bed and stumbled across the room before stopping in front of a mirror. I looked up to see a little girl, maybe 6 years old with strait brown hair and tanned skin. Then my eyes went wide as I realized that was me. I began to sink to the floor and my breathes came in more rapidly. Then I couldn't take it any more and screamed as loud as I could.'

She sighed and inhaled the cold air of the dark room, snuggling under her covers. The only light illuminating the room was the light from the TV. Everything was going smoothly, until she heard footsteps approaching from the hallway leading to her room. Her room was at the extreme of the hallway. The footsteps stopped right in front of her door-- then a knock on the door could be heard. "Ani" she heard a voice from outside call That was the day Her life changed forever. If she had known how things would turn out, she never would have opened the door for her drunk father to get in. I don't know how long I stayed there, kneeling to the ground and staring at my parents' corpses. Their blood stained most of my body as I rubbed my face trying to get it off. I furrow my eyebrows as I notice the drops of blood on the ground, not knowing if those were from my tears or injuries. The others have managed to distract them enough from hurting me, but I can't seem to get up and leave my parents alone. I hiccup as I look over to where the monsters that killed my parents are standing. My heart drops and my eyes widen as I see a familiar little girl with strawberry blonde hair being restrained. "W-What are you doing?!". I feel the panic settle in again. "LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE!". I whisper a 'no' as someone holds me back and I cry out as I feel the pain shoot up my arm from the strong hold. I try to see through my tears but can't tell who the guy is. I look over to my sister and notice they were holding another boy with us. The guard behind me sighs, and goosebumps run over my arms as he takes me over to what seems their leader before they start whispering. They both nod to each other before they start approaching us. The last thing I remember was the boy yelling "NO!" before darkness took me out.
