Lucy Theroux's fourth senior year has come to an end. She figures it signifies that it's time for her to move on again. Find a new place, get a job, and live under the radar for a couple years before deciding to start her fifth round of high school. She's technically 51, but still looks and feels like a sixteen year old kid, vampirism has its perks. Life gets pretty boring following the same routine again and again- for decades. It's lonely too, as she knows to steer clear of any friendships or relationships, its all temporary anyways. This is a year of change for Lucy, and it all starts with the meeting of a witch named Bridget...who happens to be trapped in the body of a scarecrow.
I'll include appropriate trigger warnings for individual chapters when necessary, however, let this note forewarn you that there will be content in this story not suitable for all readers. Expect graphic violence/gore, as the protagonist is a vampire and requires blood to survive, but I'll note any chapters that are especially graphic.
