Brian Haner Junior and Zacky Baker are seventeen years old, living in Long Beach, California. They are best friends, but even the closest of friends have the darkest of secrets. Brian was bitten by a werewolf as a child, when he was eleven years old. The beast had looked like nothing more than an unnaturally giant, rabid dog, its jaws capable of almost ripping off Brian's entire left arm. It would have been successful, if his family had not been there. But what none of them knew, was that it had been more than a dog. Much, much more. Zacky also has a secret; he was attacked by a vampire several days before his sixteenth birthday, and ever since then he has been one of them. He feeds on human blood and he burns in the sunlight, making his life a million times more complicated. He has hidden this from Brian completely, somehow, but that changes now. When Brian turns eighteen, something strange happens; he changes. He becomes a werewolf. He slowly realizes that the supernatural is reality, and soon discovers that he and Zacky are made to destroy eachother, that it is bound in their nature and in their blood. As Brian fights between his inner monster and his supressed, hidden feelings for his best friend, Zacky battles with himself, knowing that to love your enemy is wrong, when such a fate is written on the path before you. They have to fight themselves, to love each other.
