Josh was born blind, but with his blindness he was born with a gift. He is closer to nature then any other mortal on earth. The only way he can "see" is through the vibrations of the bare earth. It isn't until he gets into a horrible accident that he finds himself being nurtured back to health by a nymph who is also blind. A forbidden kiss leaves them both in a life threatening predicament.
