What a life one must live to feel the burning passion of love etched deep into their soul. . . . 'The wind. I missed the wind; the way it dries my throat and eyes and chaps my lips. The way it whips my hair about my face. The way my blades cut so easily through it: I missed it all. I never want to let this go.'

You never think that you could miss the little things like the smell of grass or the sun on your skin. The feeling of swimming or the sound of the rain. After nine years of my life are stripped away by a car accident that left me in a coma, I finally figured out how badly someone could miss the littlest things in life. But I also got to experience the bigger things like love and happiness and pain and anger. All of these feelings were from one huge experience that led me to find out who I truly am. All because of one boy who saved me.
