This is a redraft of a previously completed book of the same name. In order to motivate myself to write and complete this draft I am going to be experimenting with streaming the process. You can catch my live streams at twitch.tv/mr_aek (I also stream games occasionally) Feel free to ask questions or gives suggestions, however if I get "in the zone" I may not respond to chat. This Book follows one of the earliest characters in a large expansive universe I've developed and plotted. Clarine blames herself for a war that resulted in the extinction of two species, leaving the last of both kinds. She's about given up on hopes of ever bringing them back and has been wondering the Continental US for several years trying to remain invisible. After a wild night in New York she gets a headache very different than the normal hangover, and a vivid, realistic dream of a Man, Neel, working a dead-end job on the other side of the country. Somehow this Man is important, and somehow his demon is just what she needs to bring back her long dead relatives.

This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. This is only meant to be a marker of progress. I hope some may find it enjoyable, useful, and even helpful.
