Kara Mellani Gordon is Barbara's little sister who took the mantle of Batgirl when her big sister was paralyzed. It wasn't hard to become a vigilante since she was secretly patrolling around Gotham even before Batgirl was shot. She was the girl Batman needed at a very good time. When they were trying to solve a case about a new villain rising, Batman knew who he needed to call when even Barbara can't help them out.
