"What on earth do you think you're doing to Actaeon?" A petite, fair-headed girl hisses at a wolf triple her size.
Dumbfounded, the large grey wolf hangs from one set of the mighty antlers of the girl's guardian.
Brandishing a large stick she swings it at the hindquarters of the beast, causing the wolf to release the antler and a loud yelp to echo through the forest.
Reaching up and swinging herself onto the back of the white stag, the girl looks down upon the wolf disgusted. "Don't even think about hunting deer ever again, or we'll be back."
And with that, they vanish into the trees.
A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers.
