"There is nothing wrong in begging for forgiveness from the person you truly love. How do you know it's true love? Here it is: would you be ready to accept death a hundred times, just to see your lover's face for one last time? If your answer is yes, Harry, that relationship is meant to be. You really have to get her back into your life." Anne said, hoping this would help Harry choose.

Would you be ready to accept death a hundred times, just to see your lover's face for one last time?

Anne's words repeated in Harry's head a million times. He kept seeing Taylor, and her pretty face, and all the beautiful memories they once shared. Taylor is the one. There was never any doubt about that.

The answer to his mother's question is a million times yes. If he ever dies, and he doesn't get to see Taylor, he would beg god to let him see Taylor for one last time, in exchange of dying for a hundred more times.

Why would he do that?
Because they are meant to be.

"I know exactly what you like." I swallowed, my throat dry despite the whiskey. "And what does that have to do with your secret?" His lips curved, the faintest hint of a smirk. "Because I think you want someone who can push back." The heat in my stomach curled tighter, and I hated that too. Hated that he was reading me too easily, hated that I couldn't tell if he was just playing or if he really understood. "That's not much of a secret," I said smoothly, keeping my voice even. "Anyone could guess that." "Maybe," Harry mused, his fingers toying with the rim of his glass. "But I don't think just anyone could keep up with you." I narrowed my eyes, my body betraying me with the way it leaned just slightly closer. "And you think you can?" He didn't answer right away. He just held my gaze, letting the anticipation stretch, letting the weight of it settle between us. Then, finally, his smirk deepened. "I guess that depends," he murmured, his voice dropping to something dark. "Are you gonna let me find out?" // August Paisley was born into bloodshed. As the daughter of Brooklyn's most ruthless mafia leader, she's spent her life sharpening her edges, knowing that love is a liability and trust is a death sentence. With enemies circling and war on the horizon, she has no time for distractions-especially not the kind that comes in the form of sharp-tongued, brooding, Harry Styles. Harry is everything she should hate. The son of her family's greatest enemy. A man raised on the promise of destruction. Their worlds are built on blood feuds and old grudges, and there's no future where the two of them walk away unscathed. But when their paths collide, what starts as a battle of wit and fire turns into something else-something intoxicating, something inevitable. Falling for him is a mistake that cost her everything. Her life. But in a war where nothing is certain, letting him go might be the most dangerous thing of all.

(Completed) For 18+ please. Contain sexual scenes and vulgarity. The world had seen it all--the passion, the whirlwind, the unraveling. Harry Styles and Taylor Swift weren't just two young stars caught in the chaos of fame; they were the story. The golden couple. The obsession of millions. Every stolen glance, every late-night rendezvous, every whispered lyric dissected under a microscope. And when it all came crashing down, the world watched that, too. It was ugly. Explosive. The kind of heartbreak that doesn't just break--it shatters. Songs were written, interviews were given, clues were hidden in melodies and metaphors, and fans took sides like it was war. They were over. That's what everyone believed. That's what they tried to believe. But some love stories don't end just because the world thinks they should. Because the truth was, no matter how far they ran, no matter how many other lovers warmed their beds, they always found their way back to each other. It was in the way their eyes burned when they locked across a crowded room, the way their hands would brush just enough to set fire to everything they swore they had buried. It happened again and again. A friend's party. A music gala. A quiet, darkened hotel hallway where no one could see. The air between them was always charged--too dangerous to touch, too tempting to resist. It didn't matter if it was reckless. It didn't matter if it would end in disaster. When the nights got too lonely, when the world outside felt too heavy, they crashed into each other like they always had. Hands grasping, lips bruising, skin burning. Because this wasn't just a mistake. This wasn't just nostalgia. This was a sin they had no intention of stopping.
