Young Will Scarlet, a noble of Loxley, has lived a life sheltered from the dangerous life of Nottingham and the surrounding Sherwood Forest by his mother. His life was perfect ... until The Sheriff of Nottingham murders his mother. Sent to find his uncle in Sherwood Forest by his mother's last words, Will discovers that he is the nephew of the outlaw Robin Hood and finds himself inducted into the Merry Men. As he makes friends and an enemy in the Merry Men, Will tries to protect his new family in the best ways that he can. A failure on his part leads to his capture at the hands of The Sheriff, and Robin Hood and the rest of the outlaws must scramble together to save him. Can they save their newest and youngest member of their family, or will The Sheriff finally triumph over the Merry Men?
