For as long as Gen could remember Haslemere had been the same. Growing up in a sleepy New England town frozen in time, Gen dreamed stories of lives she'd lived long ago, and the boy who she loved every time. But now there are fires being set in the woods behind her house and the prickly new boy in town is a cousin of the Hadlocks, the reclusive family that lives on the hill. And when citizens start falling asleep and not waking up, she's forced to realize that not only are all the stories she was told as a child true, they're happening again.
