The Family at 28, Waterloo Lane

A blatant rip-off of the famous Harry Potter series, but without the magic. Which arguably makes it worse.

But who cares about that? This is about George, an orphan boy who lives with his awful aunt and uncle in a generic suburban home. He doesn't live an exactly pleasant life, what with living in a cupboard-under-the-stairs, neglectful relatives, and an inability to make friends apart from a spider named Octavian.

I'd say more but I don't want to spoil the whole story here. Read it if you want. Or not, I can't force you to do anything.

Keep in mind that I just wrote this as coursework for college, so don't expect an award-winning novel here. That one is due later.
