All seemed good until the dark half of Regina re-cast the dark curse, this time without the saviour to undo it. One fearless princess and one cowardly man must do the right thing and give the one thing that brought their marriage back together, their child. They must let there child live with Regina and break the curse. When everyone wakes up Regina had raised the child for twelve years. Twelve years of walking around her frozen town, everyone frozen in one spot until the saviour came of age. Everything is good to the residents of Storybrooke, but not to Regina.
