Ardiation just smiled and shook her head in amusement. Who knew talking to a middle aged woman could be so enthralling? Well ,who knew coming back to the Abalone mansion could be so enthralling, either?
But what sucked all the enthrallment out of Ardiation's soul was the thought of tonight's dinner. Who knew a family dinner could be so scary?
Well, of course it can be if it's a dinner with your family whom you have ironically never had the pleasure to meet.

I made my way to the kitchen as usual and opened the fridge and grabbed a drink. My mom was usually in here,preparing a snack for my brother and I but today she wasn't.
