In another kingdom, in another time, a scholar discovers documents that relate to the history of an ancient kingdom: Hyrule. The story intrigues him, and he soon discovers more documents, more stories, more mysteries. As delves into the history of this forgotten kingdom and the legend of its princess, the scholar embarks on his own quest to piece together the history-and timeline-of Hyrule Kingdom. Here, in a series of journal entries, the scholar records his findings, his questions, and his conclusions. In time, all of his research would be compiled into what we know today as Hyrule Historia. This is a work of epistolary fan fiction inspired by the Legend of Zelda video game franchise. Cover photo: Joannie Dennis, Flickr
