"M'lady! Can't you see?!" He shouted, looking into my eyes as if his glowing red eyes were staring into my soul. "What do you mean?" I asked, my heart pounding. "I wanna be with you...Really I do! But I wanna rule Paris more!" He laughed, a smirk went across his face. I placed one of my hands on my forehead, thinking. My idea came back to me. I walked up to him. "I'm not letting you take over Paris." I said. "Then....I'll just have to get rid of you." He showed his fangs, smirking more. I was in deep shock.

Suddenly, he yanked my hair back, hard. I screamed in pain, but I refused to open my eyes. "Be my good girl and open your eyes, Seraphina," he commanded, his voice low and dangerous. "Never," I growled in defiance. I couldn't believe the Moon Goddess had mated me to this monster. I despised him. Every inch of my soul hated him. "Give me all the pain you want, but I will never obey you," I spat, my voice filled with hatred. He chuckled darkly. "Then, as you wish," he murmured. I barely had time to process his words before sharp pain pierced my neck. His fangs sank into my flesh with full force, tearing through my skin. I let out a blood-curdling scream as agony burned through me. My eyes snapped open involuntarily, locking onto his, and in that moment, I realized I had made a terrible mistake.Complete
