When young Anja Kali is Chosen to become the next Pride of the Fourteen Fighters: the Seven Sins and Virtues, she is then trained with her two friends; Juda and Kyler Hecate; twins chosen as each other's counterparts: Wrath and Patience. Soon after coming to the Mansion, where she will live for the next 225 years, she meets the original Pride, Lucifer Morningstar. Lucifer comes to her Chosen group for help taking down Satan, who is tired of waiting for humanity to crumble. After a severe tragedy happens, Anja is given more motivation to take down the king of hell. 
But... is it really Satan the Chosen have to worry about? With a prophecy about the Thirteenth Chosen over Anjas head, and with the help of a new friend, Anja will learn how to fight the darkness plaguing her team. Along with the demon within her own heart.
