In an attempt to escape an abusive ex-boyfriend, Victoria Young moves to the small town of Mennenga, Texas. She leaves behind her friends, family, and everything she has ever known. She is taken in by an old friend of her fathers, Denali, who promises to help her get back on her feet.
One night, Victoria decides to use peyote to try and relieve the pain from her past relationship and finds herself surrounded by wolves.
