The claws of the cat

Ever since the dawn of human civilization, people have loved to personify animals, imagine them thinking and acting the same way we do. Elements of our folklore even seem to show this idea, werewolves, witches disguised as cats or owls....
To this day we still ask people
"Are you a cat or a dog person?"and "What's your spirit animal?"
But what if there was a reason why this idea intrigues us so much? A hidden secret that only a few know of, something strange and supernatural, just below the surface of our modern world... And what happens when you discover that you're part of that secret too?
