The Galactic Empire is in control of the galaxy's trade routes, but it doesn't stop hundreds of smugglers from keeping their secret black market alive.
Two of these smugglers are former Jedi, trying to earn a living without being discovered by the Empire. Both Haeleigh and Annika know what they've gotten themselves into, and neither is willing to quit. Smuggling has allowed them to maintain a low profile and work against the Empire, which gives the close friends the hope of one day defeating the Empire.
Unfortunately, the time for rebellion has not come yet. So, when Imperial warships unexpectedly arrive at Kessel, Haeleigh and Annika must make a daring escape; one which could end in an untimely demise if not done correctly.
With danger lurking in the many miles surrounding Kessel, will the two women live to tell the story of their run?

The year is 30ABY. The First Order led by Snoke has taken over the Galaxy. The old Sith Order has collapsed, but from its ashes rose a new cult of the Descendants of the Black Star, with one and only purpose - to serve as Snoke's assassins. So, I have decided to completely redo the OG trilogy book, so anything you saw there, ignore it. This book is the next in line after "Vengeance: A Sith's Story", and is a sequel. Led by Grand Emperor Darth Malidictus and his wife, Mother Talzin, the two giant entities bear their fangs, sharpen their claws, and snarl at each other regularly, with the Grand Emperor taking in Refugees that the Galactic Empire, that have been forced out of their homes, only further adding to the tension... Among the two empires, there are many in the Sith Empire that call for war, openly preaching their hatred for the "fakes" and the "false empire" that shames the name "Sith"... One of these individuals, is a man called Kyran Xovia, the son of Grand Emperor Malidictus, and is the prince of the empire, often referred to as "Darth Dreadis", or, "The Black Wind", due to his ability to galvanize people, and his innate darkness that shines through the night sky. Hating the Galactic Empire with a passion that is more fiery than even his own Father's hatred of it, Ky decides to make a stand against it...by joining, the Rebellion. Specifically with a group called..."The Ghost crew". After a mission on Lothal, things start to get a LOT more complicated...for the young Sith Lord... But can the two of them overcome their differences and mistrust of each other to accomplish that task or will pride win out? And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. For years, the evil Galactic Empire has conquered and subjugated countless peaceful worlds but as their tyranny spreads across the galaxy, brave men and women rise up to rebel against the darkness. On the distant planet of Lothal, imperial forces have controlled and oppressed the innocent people of this once quiet planet to fuel their factories. With the noble Jedi Order all but destroyed, there is little hope for the citizens of Lothal to know freedom once again. A small rebel unit, known as The Spectres have arrived to aid the planet and fight the Empire. Amongst this crew is young man by the name of Aurelian fights alongside his friends against tyranny as he begins to awaken his true powers and reshape the galaxy... (You will find a lot of 40k influence in this story, to the point it might be a crossover in some respects. Nothing crazy, so no Space Marines, demons, or the like will show up. Just names, places, and imagery mostly.)
